The Middle Years Development Instrument (MDI) is a self-report questionnaire that goes beyond academics by asking children in Grades 4 and 7 about their thoughts, feelings and experiences in school and in the community.
We are excited to announce that MDI School District and Community Reports for 2015/2016 are now online. Please visit the MDI School District & Community Reports page to view reports from those BC school districts that have participated.
In addition, we have updated A Guide to Understanding Your MDI Results. This MDI companion document was developed to support the interpretation and application of MDI results for schools and communities. We encourage you to read it as you read your reports.
You may also wish to view Dr. Kimberly Schonert-Reichl's 2015/2016 MDI Results Release webinar, which took place on May 18th. The webinar provides an introduction to the MDI as well as key highlights from the latest MDI data collection.
The MDI team would like to extend its warmest appreciation to the students, teachers, and administrators who made this project possible. Thank you for your participation.
