HELP is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to provide leadership in all aspects of operational management. The incumbent will work closely with both the Director and Deputy Director of HELP, as well as working collaboratively with senior SPPH, Faculty of Medicine and UBC staff to ensure sound operational management. The Senior Operations Manager works closely with the Faculty of Medicine Financial Cluster staff on all issues related to financial processing, control, accountability and budget preparation. They are also responsible for overseeing HELP’s relationship with UBC IT to support and enhance business operations and to ensure that appropriate IT planning and controls exist. The incumbent liaises with university offices (ORS, UIL, Supply Management) regarding HELP’s legal and contracting requirements and plays an important role in HELP’s negotiations and reporting to its funders.
