Dr. Kimberly Schonert-Reichl receives Distinguished Scholar Award

The Human Early Learning Partnership's Interim Director, Dr. Kimberly A. Schonert-Reichl, is the recent recipient of the 2015 Joseph E. Zins Distinguished Scholar Award for Outstanding Contributions to Action Research in Social and Emotional Learning. The award was given by the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL).

CASEL is the nation’s leading organization advancing the development of academic, social and emotional competence for all students. Their mission is to help make evidence-based social and emotional learning (SEL) an integral part of education from preschool through high school. Through research, practice and policy, CASEL collaborates to ensure all students become knowledgeable, responsible, caring and contributing members of society.

CASEL’s Distinguished Scholar Awards are presented to researchers in distinct phases of their careers for their achievements in advancing research and practice in the field of SEL.
