HELP staff and faculty are hitting the road in May, 2015! Join us for events in Prince George, Prince Rupert, Terrace and Kelowna.
Prince George: May 11-12
Prince Rupert: May 12
Terrace: May 13
Kelowna: May 14-15
HELP researchers and staff will focus on HELP’s work exploring ‘the differences that make a difference’ in children’s development. Roadshow events are your opportunity to learn more about population-level data collection in BC using both the Early and Middle Years Development Instruments (EDI and MDI). In addition, presentations will focus on what we have learned about children’s development and the impacts this knowledge has had, the importance of middle childhood and social-emotional learning, and early screening initiatives in BC communities.
All events are FREE to attend and open to the public.

This Roadshow continues the legacy of HELP's founding director, Dr. Clyde Hertzman, who focused on working closely with communities across B.C. to increase collaborative efforts toward positive change for children and families. The events for each city were planned in close consultation with local school district and community partners and are being coordinated with support from Success By 6 BC.
